Jacob Mullins

Jacob Mullins is a Partner at SCG Real Estate, where he has been involved since January 2022. He is also a Managing Director at Shasta Ventures, a position he has held since 2016. His expertise lies in venture capital, particularly in technology startups, with a focus on sectors such as software as a service (SaaS), applied artificial intelligence, and augmented/virtual reality.13

Mullins has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Yale University, which he completed between 2001 and 2005. His career includes various roles in the tech industry, including founding an AI-powered software platform for mergers and acquisitions called Exitround and developing a B2B platform at Microsoft known as BizSpark.23

In addition to his work at SCG Real Estate and Shasta Ventures, Mullins serves on multiple boards, including Deep Sentinel and GoFormz, and is a co-founding member of LatinxVC, an organization that supports the career development of Latinos and Latinas in venture capital.23
