Jacob Ewing is currently an Analyst to the CEO at the Obama Foundation, where he has contributed to the foundation's global programmatic and development initiatives. His role involves supporting strategic efforts that align with the foundation's mission to empower individuals and communities, particularly in relation to issues surrounding migration and refugee assistance.123
Ewing holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (MALD) from Tufts University, graduating in 2022. Before his current position, he served as a project manager at the Leir Institute, where he was instrumental in launching various initiatives aimed at enhancing understanding and support for migrant populations. His experience includes overseeing strategic planning and external engagement efforts.12
In addition to his work at the Obama Foundation, Jacob Ewing is now an Individual Philanthropy Officer at the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP), where he focuses on building relationships with individual donors to support the organization’s mission of providing legal assistance and advocacy for refugees.12 Ewing is passionate about amplifying the voices of displaced individuals in advocacy efforts, emphasizing the importance of storytelling in shaping effective strategies for refugee support.1
