Prior to this, he served as the CRNA Team Leader at Massachusetts General Hospital and worked as a CRNA at Beverly Anesthesia Assoc Inc and Cooper University Health Care.

Jacob's early career involved emergency medical services, where he worked as a 911/Critical Care Transport Paramedic at Crozer-Keystone Emergency Medical Services and as a Paramedic at Marple Township EMS. He also gained experience as a Nurse Anesthesia Student at the University of Pennsylvania and as a Burn ICU/Emergency Dept. Nurse at NY Presbyterian Hospital.
