Joseph Zito MD, MHA, EMT-P, FACEP

Joseph A MD Zito is an experienced Emergency Medicine Intensivist and Critical Care Physician with a strong background in Health Care Administration and Management. He holds board certifications in Emergency Medicine and Neuro Critical Care, having studied Medicine and Healthcare Administration at Ross University School of Medicine and Hofstra University, respectively. He also completed his B.S in Community Health at Hofstra University and his Biology degree from Providence College.

Dr. Zito has served in several medical leadership roles, including as Director of Medical Services at Mineola Med and Medical Director for various emergency medical services/ fire-fighting organizations such as Mineola Volunteer Ambulance Co, Bethpage Fire Dept, Franklin Square Fire District, Syosset Volunteer Fire Department, and more. He has also been an Assistant and Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Stony Brook Medicine, and Hofstra University.

Besides being a healthcare professional, Dr. Zito also served as Vice President at Zito Enterprises, a family-owned real estate investment firm.
