Izabela de Catella Marcello

Izabela de Catella Marcello is a Physics graduate from the Federal University of Minas Gerais with international experience in Physics Technology at the Dublin Institute of Technology.

She has been working for 3 years as a technical lead on medium/large-scale photovoltaic projects in the Distributed Generation modality.

Her expertise covers all stages of photovoltaic plant implementation, from energy production analysis using PVSyst software to meteorological data studies, technical layout definition, technical documentation preparation for utility access requests, basic project design, executive project analysis, supply chain management, contract management, field implementation oversight, and plant connection.

She has comprehensive knowledge of the photovoltaic plant connection process to the CEMIG grid, following regulations like PRODIST and ND 5.31.

Aside from project work, Izabela also engages in post-connection plant operation and maintenance within the utility network, optimizing energy production through data analysis, and developing preventive maintenance plans.

She monitors plants using supervisory/SCADA systems to identify maintenance needs.

Izabela acts as a consultant on external projects, focusing on plant concept design, electrical configuration determination, supplier liaison, and generation efficiency estimation.

She is certified in PVSyst software by UNICAMP, proficient in Helioscope, and has intermediate AutoCAD skills for basic project execution. Additionally, she holds certifications in small-scale photovoltaic projects and installations and is TOEFL certified for English proficiency.
