Islam Hussein

Islam Hussein is a highly accomplished professional with a strong background in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. He holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from The American University in Cairo.

Islam has held key positions in various prestigious organizations, including his current role as Director of Research and Development at Trusted Space, Inc. Prior to this, he served as the Vice President of Space Systems at Thornton Tomasetti, and as a Senior R&D Engineer at L3Harris Technologies. He also gained valuable experience in research roles at L3 Applied Defense Solutions and L3 ADS, as well as in academia as a Senior Faculty Fellow with the Air Force Research Laboratory and as an Assistant Professor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

With a broad range of experience in both industry and academia, Islam has demonstrated expertise in areas such as aerospace research, space systems, and defense solutions. His contributions to various organizations highlight his dedication to advancing technology and innovation in the field of Aerospace Engineering.
