Isissa Komada-John

Isissa Komada-John is a versatile and accomplished multidisciplinary artist, independent designer, and exhibition-maker with a vast experience in the art and design industry. With a background in Africana Studies from Brown University and Interior Design from Parsons the New School for Design, Isissa's career has been marked by a series of prestigious roles. She has held key positions such as Exhibitions Manager and Designer at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture and Exhibitions Director at the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA). Isissa's creative endeavors have seen her curating, designing, and organizing over 40 exhibitions, gaining recognition from notable publications like The New York Times, Hyperallergic, and The Huffington Post.
