Imraan Tayob

Imraan Tayob is a Psychiatry Resident at Groote Schuur Hospital, where he is currently undergoing specialized training in psychiatry. He has been serving as a Psychiatry Resident since August 2021 and is also affiliated with the Western Cape Department of Health as a Specialist Psychiatrist.1 Dr. Tayob holds an MB, ChB degree from the University of Natal and has completed his FCPsych (SA) and MMed qualifications.2 Additionally, he is involved in academic activities as a lecturer at the University of Cape Town's Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health.2 Prior to his medical career, Dr. Tayob completed a commerce degree at the University of Cape Town and worked in brand marketing.3
