Impact Council, also known as Impact Investors Council (IIC), is a prominent non-profit industry association representing Impact Investors in India. Impact Investors are financial investors dedicated to investing in social enterprises to drive positive social and environmental impact for underprivileged communities, focusing on sectors like Agriculture, Financial Inclusion, Affordable Education & Healthcare, Water & Sanitation, Clean Energy, and Livelihoods. The core mission of Impact Council is to mobilize private capital to address the social investment gap in India and cultivate the growth of impact investment as a distinct asset class.
