Ilvan Arroyo

Ilvan Arroyo is a skilled professional with a strong background in public health education and grant management.

Currently serving as the Associate Director at the Center for Public Health Education at Stony Brook University, Ilvan oversees various grants including the NYS AIDS Institute Regional HIV/STI/Viral Hepatitis training grant and the New York AIDS Education and Training grant.

Ilvan Arroyo is proficient in composing grants, reports, and proposals, ensuring the fiscal integrity of grants, managing policies and procedures for the Center for Public Health Education (CPHE), and supervising educators and administrative staff.

With a BS in Bilingual Special Education from the State University of New York College at Old Westbury, Ilvan Arroyo has a solid educational foundation to support their professional endeavors.

Prior to their current role, Ilvan held key positions such as the Coordinator of the Adult Day Treatment Program for People with HIV/AIDS at Catholic Charities - Long Island and the Director of Client Services at the Long Island Association for AIDS Care, Inc. (LIAAC).
