Pioneering Sustainable Construction
Through the MyShelter Foundation, Illac has introduced pioneering programs in the Philippines using sustainable materials like rammed earth, bamboo, and PET plastic bottles for construction.12 In 2011, the first Bottle School in Asia was completed in Laguna, Philippines using his sustainable architectural design.2
Liter of Light Project
