Igor P. Sobkowicz, PhD, PE, an individual with over 8 years of experience in the solar industry, recently embarked on a journey of studying Science & Religion at the University of Edinburgh until October 2021.

With a keen interest in exploring the interconnectedness of science and religion, Igor delves into understanding their historical relationship, which has evolved over the centuries.

While pursuing his academic endeavors, Igor remains connected to his expertise in the solar field and welcomes networking opportunities within the industry.

His educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Materials Science from Ecole polytechnique, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Science and Religion from The University of Edinburgh, and various other degrees in management and engineering.

During his professional tenure, Igor has held positions such as Project Engineering Manager at Borrego Solar Systems, PV Designer at Cupertino Electric, Inc., Solar PV Design Engineer at ACCURATE SOLAR POWER, LLC, and Research Engineer at TOTAL.
