Ignacio Giraldez

Ignacio Giraldez is a well-established Artificial Intelligence (AI) Chief Scientist, University Teacher, Consultant, Entrepreneur, and Manager of Research and Development (R&D). He is an expert in AI research for product/service development, data-driven storytelling, Data Strategy, and Management, and end-to-end development of data products. With over 20 years of experience, Ignacio has cemented his expertise in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, IoT Cybersecurity Analytics, Intelligent Software Agents, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computational Semantics, and Data-driven Marketing.

Ignacio began his academic career at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where he graduated with a Graduate degree in Physics, Major in Computing. He went further to pursue a PhD in Artificial Intelligence at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He also studied Online Teaching at MiraCosta College as part of his continuous learning and self-improvement agenda.

Ignacio's professional experience is rich and diverse. He currently holds the position of Global Principal Data Scientist at RB; formerly Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Consultant at Knowledgeworks SLU, Principal Data Scientist at Teradata, Machine Learning Scientist at Returnly, and Artificial Intelligence Chief Scientist at zvelo, Inc. His academic experience includes Accredited Doctor Teacher and Principal Investigator at Universidad Europea de Madrid and an Invited Researcher in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence at Harvard University.

Ignacio has sufficient skills to manage R&D, where he has completed several projects with cutting-edge technologies. These projects include developing intelligent software agents for internet browsing, gathering intelligence information from the internet domain, designing and executing a natural language processing system for customer interaction, and applying computational semantics to analyze big data.
