Ignacio Estella is a seasoned and accomplished corporate development leader with a unique understanding of global growth strategies across various sectors and industries. He has over two decades of experience in business origination, gas markets development, financial leadership, and strategic negotiation. He received his education from some of the world's top academic institutions, including Harvard University, IMD Business School, and Stanford University.

Before joining AVANGRID as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, Ignacio worked for Iberdrola for over ten years. He held various executive positions, including VP of Corporate Development and Group Director of Business Origination. He was responsible for closing 31 successful transactions, focusing mainly on America, Asia, and Europe.

Ignacio also has a remarkable entrepreneurial spirit, having founded and served as COO of Kids at Work, S.A., an innovative company aimed at inspiring children's creativity and intellectual growth. Furthermore, he worked as a consultant for Roland Berger and Oliver Wyman, advising clients on strategy and operations, and served as a Technical Counselor to the Spanish Minister of Environment and Administrator for the European Commission.
