Ignacio Chechile

Ignacio Chechile is a highly accomplished engineer with vast experience in space systems engineering. He has a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional. Chechile's professional career spans over several reputable organizations, and he has held various positions such as Software Team Leader and AOCS Software Engineer at INVAP, Embedded Systems Engineer at Digicard and MULTILED S.A., and VP Spacecraft Engineering at ICEYE. Most recently, he is the Chief Technology Officer at ReOrbit, where he collaborates with his team in the development of space systems.

Chechile's interest lies in space systems, from whiteboard scribbles to on-orbit operations. He is passionate about early stage engineering, systems architecture, interoperability, reusability, and modularity and how it can enable better space utilization. Chechile underscores the importance of simplicity in engineering design and is a certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), issued by INCOSE.
