Albert Caubet

Albert Caubet is a co-founder of Near Space Labs with a focus on engineering R&D to disrupt the Earth Observation market using high altitude platforms. With expertise in GNC and flight dynamics, Albert has a proven track record from working at prominent organizations such as the French space agency, the University of Strathclyde, and OHB.

Albert holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in GNC/Aerospace from the University of Strathclyde and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Aerospace Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. His contributions to the field include building software that controls a satellite in orbit.

Throughout his career, Albert Caubet has served in various capacities including Chief Engineer at Near Space Labs, AOCS Engineer at OHB SE, Marie Curie Research Associate and PhD candidate at University of Strathclyde, Orbital Dynamics Engineer at Centre National d'Études Spatiales, and internships at Centre National d'Études Spatiales and THALES ALENIA SPACE.
