Dr. Ibrahim Alhoqail has an illustrious academic career starting at King Saud University where he rose through the ranks to become an Associate Professor. He played a pivotal role in establishing the faculty of medicine and introducing the problem-based method of medical education in Saudi Arabia.
He later became the Founding Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at King Fahad Medical City, overseeing the construction of the faculty tower building and setting up the medical education quality unit, a pioneering initiative in the country.
Dr. Ibrahim has been instrumental in various academic and administrative roles, including serving on the Board of Directors and Joint Executive Committee of King Fahad Medical City and founding the Saudi International Medical Education Conference (SIMEC).
His expertise is widely recognized, leading to consultancy appointments with prestigious organizations and playing key roles in establishing new educational institutions, faculties, and projects in the medical field.
Dr. Ibrahim's educational background includes studying Medicine at King Saud University, Fellowship in Dermatopathology at The University of British Columbia, and MHA at Washington University in St. Louis. He has been actively involved in professional associations and played a significant role in founding the Saudi Association of Health Administration.
