Hwajung Lee is an experienced linguist, translator, and interpreter with a diverse educational background. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Russian from Seoul National University, and has studied in various programs focusing on Russian language, literature, and culture in St. Petersburg, Russia. She also holds a Master's degree in Comparative Literature from Dartmouth College.
Lee has a strong background in the Korean language, having worked as a freelance Korean linguist, consultant, and interpreter for various organizations, including Lumos Labs, LinkedIn, and Cisco Systems. She has also worked as an agency interpreter at Stanford University Medical Center and as a telephonic interpreter at Language Line Services.
Lee is currently the Founder and CEO of Culture Flipper, a company that provides cultural coaching and support for individuals and organizations looking to do business in Korea. In addition to her language and cultural expertise, she has also worked as an executive assistant, translator, and correspondent for various companies and organizations.
In her free time, Lee enjoys volunteering as an interpreter and working with immigrants and refugees in the healthcare industry. She is also interested in anthropology and has studied at the University of Sydney's Summer School.
