An organization within the Bay Area News Group, Convertly offers a super fast website creation platform with speed as our top priority. We also track conversions in Google Analytics and advertising platforms easily from entry, engagement, calls, chats, forms, cart and checkout. I  worked on version 2 of the editor building out features and optimizations from our previous version.

- Tech/Frameworks: React/Redux, JavaScript, GraphQL, Node, MongoDB, Redis
- Refactored and optimized a large portion of the version 1 website editor panel
- Co-designed in Figma and built 50+ React components for version 2 of the website editor
- Configured frontend components to make the appropriate GraphQL API calls
- Maintained/deployed ui-components package on npm and an AWS S3 server with Storybook.js

Purse allows users to name their own discount when shopping any product on Amazon by matching shoppers with earners - individuals who wish to exchange their Amazon gift cards for Bitcoin. I worked on improving front end load times and back end optimizations.

- Reduced download time via WebSockets by 90% for order transactions CSV files
- Improved Amazon web scraper design allowing 50+ items to be on site
- Identified and fixed multiple bugs on the site’s frontend and backend
- Found the cause of most cancelations were due to Bitcoin arbitrage attempts; fixed by reducing order cancelation time from 30 minutes to 10 minutes

EveryTeam is an early stage startup that is aiming to be the wikis for companies. Founded by developers from Github, EveryTeam is impacting the ways companies communicate internally. I collaborated with one of the founders directly to integrate drag and drop features with their core product.

- Built new feature adding drag and drop for Draft.js (React text editor) with 5+ supporting technologies: Draft.js, Immutable.js, React, Styled-Components, HTML5 drag and drop API
- Documented implementations directly with founder and CEO with a team of less than 10 engineers
- Prototyped 10+ apps to solidify understanding of Draft.js

- Led execution of FMEA (risk-comparison analysis) for proposed door handle mechanism
- Performed troubleshooting for over 1000+ door handle sensors, transmission sensors, and fuel sensors

SystemsGo works with high schools to build rockets through project based learning to help inspire the next generation of engineers. My first year I worked with a team of students to build and develop a rocket that broke the sound barrier (760 mph). The next year, I made rocket fuel by hand and developed the engine case that was integrated with a rocket to reach space in collaboration with NASA and Stanford University.

- Built and presented a test plan to NASA executives for a rocket to reach space, 100,000 ft+
- Led engine case and fuel grain development (made in house) for rocket propulsion to break 3000 mph
- Simulated designs with RockSim software for verification of calculated values with 99% accuracy
