Hugh Carrington

Hugh Wesley Carrington is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background in human resources, sociology, higher education administration, and marketing education.

He holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Human Resources Management from Long Island University, a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sociology from The American University, a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Higher Education Administration from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Marketing Education and Sales Communications from The Ohio State University.

With a rich academic foundation, Hugh has utilized his expertise in various organizational roles, including serving as an Adjunct Professor at Long Island University across the School of Business, Department of Social Work, and Department of Sociology.

Prior to his academic stint, he contributed as an Independent Organizational Training and Development Consultant at Bridge, Inc., a Learning & Organizational Development Specialist at North Shore − LIJ Health System, a Human Resources Professional at Calvin Klein, and gained valuable experience through Human Resources Generalist paid internships at Scholastic Inc. and Institute for Community Living.
