Hortense Decaux
Founder and Director
Hortense Decaux is the Founder and Managing Director of Codi_Tech, a coding and leadership academy in Lebanon for underprivileged and marginalized youth.12 She established Codi in February 2017 with the mission to use coding and digital skills to enable inclusion and employment as a catalyst for social innovation and diversity.2
Prior to founding Codi, Decaux worked as a strategy consultant in Private Equity at the Boston Consulting Group for four years.12 She studied Management & Corporate Finance at Royal Holloway.1
Decaux is also involved in various other initiatives:
- Co-founder of UNICEF NEXTGen and co-Chair of the UK and France Committees1
- Board member for organizations such as The Auction Collective, Suitcase Group, and Limonada Mathé2
- Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry tutor for marginalized GCSE and A-Level students1
Hortense Decaux is multilingual, with native or bilingual proficiency in English and French, limited working proficiency in Spanish, and elementary proficiency in Portuguese.3
Her work with Codi has been recognized internationally. In 2023, she was chosen as a Lead2030 Challenge winner for SDG 4 (Quality Education) supported by Deloitte.4
