With a background in energy and climate policy, Holmes Hummel has served in various key roles, including as a Board Director at Cornerstone Capital and as a Senior Policy Advisor at the U.S. Department of Energy.

Holmes Hummel has extensive experience in academia, having taught Climate Policy Design at UC-Berkeley and developed a popular course for professionals in Silicon Valley on similar topics.

With a Ph.D. from Stanford University focusing on global energy scenarios, Holmes Hummel brings valuable insights for investors and policymakers to drive informed decision-making.

Prior to founding Clean Energy Works, Holmes Hummel worked at Google.org, advising on energy and climate strategy, and at Silicon Energy (now Itron), crafting energy strategies for major corporate consumers.

Holmes Hummel's international experience includes renewable energy work in South Africa, oil development issues in Ecuador, energy scenarios in Europe, and energy technology policy in China, showcasing a global perspective on energy issues.
