Hitesh Bharwani

Hitesh Bharwani, co-founder and Group Managing Director of Kanmo Retail Group, has an impressive professional background in finance, entrepreneurship and retail management. Mr. Bharwani established Kanmo Group in 2005 with a focus on retail distribution in Indonesia, and within 10 years, he grew the company to operate over 125 stores in Indonesia, including a market leadership position in the kids and baby segment. The company extended its retail portfolio to include brands in fashion and accessories category, offering popular brands such as Mothercare, Early Learning Centre and Nike Young Athletes. Under Mr. Bharwani's leadership, Kanmo Group invests in cutting-edge infrastructure including a state-of-the-art distribution center and visionary IT decision support systems. Customer satisfaction is at the heart of the business, and the company has an enormously successful privilege club program with over 350,000 members. Prior to founding Kanmo, Mr. Bharwani co-founded Mad Over Donuts and worked as an analyst at J.P. Morgan. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance Magna Cum Laude at Georgetown University and studied A Levels at Raffles Junior College and O Levels at St. Joseph's Institution.
