With over two decades of relevant experience acquired through various leadership positions in renowned organizations, he has made a significant impact on the life sciences industry.

Tanaka's academic achievements are equally impressive. He has a PhD in fundamental pharmacology from the Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) and an Engineer's degree from École Polytechnique. He also has an Executive MBA from INSEAD.
