Hilde Koopmans
Hilde Koopmans is a highly accomplished engineer, sustainability advisor, and former co-founder of Groene Golf. She is a graduate of Technische Universiteit Delft, where she received a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with cum laude honors, followed by a Master's degree in Hydraulic Engineering with an 8.0 GPA. She later pursued a Master Exchange Programme in Civil Engineering at The University of British Columbia, where she achieved an outstanding 9.0 GPA.
Koopmans has worked in a variety of roles throughout her career, including a former position as a Management Trainee Program for Rijkswaterstaat, where she developed her sustainability consulting skills. She also completed a Master's thesis in Hydraulic Engineering with Deltares, worked as an R&D engineer for Allseas, and served as a teacher and a workshop supervisor at TU Delft's Science Centre. Koopmans has a passion for environmental issues and has served as an ambassador for De Stroomversnellers and co-founded the sustainability-focused organization, Groene Golf.
Koopmans has also volunteered as the President of the Board at Student Association MSc Hydraulic Engineering - TU Delft and as a Board Member of the Lustrum Committee at K.S.V. Sanctus Virgilius. Her expertise includes sustainability consulting, hydraulic engineering, mechanical engineering, and research and development.
