Marcel Mol is a highly educated and experienced civil and hydraulic engineer with a passion for data analytics and artificial intelligence. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Technische Universiteit Delft, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a track in Hydraulic Engineering from Delft University of Technology, and a Master of Science in Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management from the National University of Singapore. He has also studied Human Resources Management at The University of Queensland.

Marcel started his career as an Intern Engineer at Van Oord before joining TU Delft as a Student Assistant in Coastal Engineering. He then moved on to become the Community Manager at BlueSpring - Young Water Talent, where he helped young professionals build their careers in the water industry. Marcel later joined MIcompany as a Data Scientist, where he applied his engineering expertise in developing data-driven solutions for clients. He then became a Project Leader and eventually a Program Manager for Data Analytics at MIcompany. Currently, he is a Course Lead and GAIn Trainer at GAIn - The Global AI Network, an initiative of MIcompany, where he trains professionals to develop AI-enabled solutions.
