Helena Landegger, ATR-P, is a Filipinx Artist and Trauma-Informed Psychologist based in NYC. She specializes in facilitating expressive experiences to address pain and trauma using a bio-psycho-social-spiritual framework. With a background in tactile and digital graphic arts, Helena combines photography, ceramics, textiles, and print-making in her work. Prior to her career in psychology, she has experience in various creative roles such as producer, photographer, wardrobe stylist, designer, and art instructor in the U.S. and Asia. Helena is currently working in the tech space to create opportunities for learning and storytelling while incorporating psychology and wellness into best practices. She holds a Master of Arts in Art Therapy + Counseling from The College of New Rochelle and has studied Printmaking at Corcoran College of Art and Design and French Language and Literature along with Studio Arts at Georgetown University. Helena Landegger is the Director of Belonging at POC, Inc. and has worked in organizations like NYC Health + Hospitals, NHaus, and New York-Presbyterian Hospital, bringing her expertise in art therapy and counseling to various settings.
