Matt Watkins
Senior Lecturer at Falmouth University
Matt Watkins is an accomplished artist, developer, and designer with extensive experience in creating interactive work such as web and mobile-based projects, live video streaming, robotics, and sensor-driven interfaces. With a Master of Arts in Digital Direction from the Royal College of Art and a BA (Hons) Creative Arts degree from The Nottingham Trent University, he has worked with notable organizations including Hewlett and Packard, the BBC, Channel 4, The Tate Gallery, Birmingham City Council, and The MET Office in his role as an Interactive Designer and Producer. Matt's interactive work has been exhibited all over the world, with showings at events such as the MobileFest in Sao Paulo, Siggraph Multimedia in Singapore, and Dislocate Festival in Tokyo. He has also co-published academic papers and presented at conferences on a global scale, including at the ACM Multimedia Conference, Singapore. Furthermore, Matt is an experienced lecturer and educator in the field of interactive media, and has held teaching positions at Falmouth University and Central College Nottingham.
