Heather Dietrick

Heather Dietrick is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse educational background. She pursued a JD/MBA at the University of Michigan, studying at both the Stephen M. Ross School of Business and the Law School. Prior to this, she earned a BA in Political Science, English, and Math from Georgetown University. Heather has held significant roles in various organizations, showcasing her expertise and leadership abilities. She has served as Chief Media Officer at Outside, CEO of The Daily Beast, and President and Publisher at The Daily Beast. Her career includes prominent positions such as President of Gizmodo Media Group and Gawker Media, as well as General Counsel at Gawker Media. Heather has also contributed her legal talents in roles such as Counsel/First Amendment Fellow at Hearst Corp. Office of General Counsel and as a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Sandra Townes at the Eastern District of New York. Her experience extends to working as an Associate at Goodwin Procter LLP and Heller Ehrman, LLP.
