Birchbox Co-Founder

Barna raised over $70 million in venture capital for Birchbox, expanded the business internationally, and launched new products and channels like men's offerings and retail stores.24
First Round Capital Partner
In 2016, Barna joined First Round Capital as a partner based in New York. She has led investments in consumer companies like Mirror, Thirty Madison, Squad, and Studs, as well as B2B companies including Anvyl, Alma, and Caper.15
Prior to Birchbox and First Round, Barna worked as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company in New York, a strategy role at Christie's in Hong Kong, and a product manager at Amazon in Seattle.23
