Hayden Clarkin

Hayden Clarkin, EIT, is a passionate transportation engineer and planner with over 3 years of consulting experience in large-scale transit projects totaling more than 18 billion dollars.

Specializing in providing local context to technical projects, Hayden's work includes heavy rail projects, ADA/accessibility design compliance, BRT design, transportation engineering, complete street redesigns, transit-oriented development (TOD), public outreach campaigns, public transit operations, freight analysis, and ferries.

Hayden is the founder and CEO of TransitCon, a free online transit platform that hosted its inaugural conference with 54 speakers and over a thousand registrants from 41 countries in January 2021.

With a strong educational background in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, German Studies, and certificates from Harvard University, Hayden brings a diverse skill set to the table.

His technical skills include proficiency in Adobe Suite, ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civil3D, Figma, Microsoft Office Suite, and programming languages like Python and SQL.

Hayden has held key positions at organizations like Dollaride, Kimley-Horn, CDM Smith, and the City of Central Falls, showcasing his expertise and versatility in the field.

Passionate about the field since childhood, Hayden's love for transportation and mobility stems from cherished moments spent with his grandfather, a bus driver in Rhode Island.
