She has a strong background in writing press releases, programming websites, social media campaigns, event planning, content marketing, article writing, media planning, client relationship management, sales planning, and designing marketing emails.

Her career began at the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, organizing prominent events and managing high-profile projects. She further honed her marketing skills at The Brandon Agency and excelled as a Marketing Manager at The Market Common, where she orchestrated successful marketing campaigns, including social media growth and event planning.

In her role as VP of Development and Marketing at SPM Resorts, Hatton facilitated substantial growth by securing new management contracts and positioning the company as a thought leader in the timeshare industry.

She also served as the Director for Women in Philanthropy and Leadership at Coastal Carolina University, aiming to inspire women to pursue leadership roles and make a significant impact in their careers.

Currently, Hatton serves as the Director of Philanthropy at Brookgreen Gardens, overseeing all fundraising activities for the organization.
