Harsha Ramalingam

Harsha Ramalingam, an accomplished business and technology builder with over 30 years of experience, has been a driving force in the tech industry. Ramalingam has held leadership positions at various Fortune 100 companies, including Amazon and EMC, and has a proven track record of success in general and engineering management, business startup, and cloud computing. After studying at The Cathedral and John Connon School in Mumbai and Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, where he completed his B.Tech, Harsha went on to earn an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and later studied at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He is currently focused on strategic advisory consulting engagements and non-executive, corporate board memberships.
During his tenure as Global Vice President at Amazon, Ramalingam managed the eCommerce Platform development, CIO and CISO functions, Foundational Technologies for storage, compute, and information security. He also founded Amazon Home Services and Amazon Custom, which have become pillar offerings in the company's product suite. He has also held a variety of leadership roles at EMC, including VP of Products and Operations for EMC's Software as a Service (SaaS) business, and helped take Freeborders from startup funding to profitability.
Ramalingam's impressive background has led to numerous board memberships and non-executive roles as well. He has served on the boards for Valo Health, Bed Bath & Beyond, SAL Holdco Corp, and Intralinks. He has also acted as a Senior Advisor for Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and served on the Information Technology Advisory Board (ITAB) for the United Nations World Food Programme.
