    Harry James Carpenter is a researcher focused on predicting heart attacks, an entrepreneur, sustainable development enthusiast, and a skilled woodworker. With a diverse background that includes farming, elite cycling, and academic success, Harry brings a unique perspective to his work. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nonlinear dynamics and coronary biomechanics, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with First Class Honours, both from the University of Adelaide. Throughout his academic journey, he has received recognition such as the prestigious Westpac Future Leaders Scholarship. Harry has been involved in various organizations, serving as President at the Adelaide Sustainability Association and contributing as a Global Shaper. Additionally, he has interned at Cundall, assisted in industry research at the University of Adelaide, and participated in projects with Engineers Without Borders Australia. On the sporting front, he has excelled as a member of the Focus Attaquer Cyclocross Team, as well as representing Australia as a cyclist with the Australian Sports Commission. Transitioning from his personal experience with heart problems, Harry is dedicated to developing predictive models for heart attacks and exploring applications in infrastructure maintenance. His woodworking skills can be seen through his unique wooden bowties and creative projects showcased on social media.
