Hap Klopp is a renowned entrepreneur, writer, and speaker who has over 40 years of experience in the business world. He is best known for being the founder and former CEO of The North Face - a popular outdoor clothing and gear company. After leaving The North Face, Klopp became an adjunct professor at Notre Dame de Namur University and started consulting for various startups and large companies, including Apple and Intel.
Throughout his successful career, Klopp has written several books on entrepreneurship, marketing, and leadership, such as "Almost: 12 Electric Months Chasing A Silicon Valley Dream" and "Conquering The North Face". He also regularly gives keynote speeches and presentations on these topics at conferences and seminars worldwide.
Klopp received his MBA from Stanford University and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley. He is actively involved with the entrepreneurship programs at both universities and serves on the board of advisors at the University of San Francisco.
