Hannes Ametsreiter

Hannes Ametsreiter is an accomplished telecommunications executive with 27 years of experience in the industry.

Starting his career at Procter & Gamble in Austria, he later transitioned to the telecommunications sector in 1996.

Ametsreiter has held various leadership roles, including serving as Group CEO of Telekom Austria Group and CEO of Vodafone Germany.

During his tenure as Vodafone CEO for Germany, he significantly grew EBITDA margins and subscriber numbers, focusing on advancing technology for societal benefit.

His educational background includes executive education at prestigious institutions like Harvard Business School, Stanford University, and INSEAD, as well as obtaining a PhD and MA from Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg.

Currently, Ametsreiter is engaged in his Equity Fund investing in Telco, Green Tech, and Clean Tech assets, with a vision to create a sustainable 'Green Tech Society' tackling global challenges with innovative solutions.
