Guy Streetley

Guy Streetley is a highly experienced chemist with over 8 years of lab-based experience in synthetic organic and medicinal chemistry. He holds a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Loughborough University, where he developed new approaches for the asymmetric synthesis of pyrroloisoquinoline and isoquinoline alkaloids. Prior to this, Guy completed a BSc in Applied Chemistry, and a Foundation in Science and Engineering at Loughborough University.

Guy has worked for several companies in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector, including Charnwood Molecular, BioFocus DPI, Glycon BIOCHEMICALS, and DexLeChem. He has worked as a Senior Research Chemist, delivering FTE and custom synthesis projects in synthetic organic and medicinal chemistry. In his recent roles, Guy has synthesised surfactants and carbohydrates at Glycon BIOCHEMICALS and researched potential asymmetric hydrogenations in the API literature at DexLeChem.

Guy is currently based in Berlin and seeking a new opportunity to progress his career further. With his expertise in synthetic organic and medicinal chemistry and experience working in a range of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, he would make a valuable asset to any company in the industry.
