NMDC is the national dredging company of one of the seven emirates, namely the emirate of Abu Dhabi situated at the UAE capital city. At NMDC day to day job is being a team member of the production team with this team of high qualified engineers we are responsible for helping the estimation department during the tendering phase and supporting the project manager and superintendent during project activities.

Royal IHC (IHC) is focussed on the continuous development of design and construction activities for the specialist maritime sector. It is the global market leader for efficient dredging and mining vessels and equipment and a reliable supplier of innovative ships and supplies for offshore construction.

As master student working at Royal IHC is being part of an innovative and dynamic organisation. At the deep sea mining department of royal IHC worked on Master thesis. The deep sea mining department is investigating a mining concept for deep sea usage. Currently they are focusing on building their first prototype crawler. The crawler will be ready for testing 1H 2016.

At van Oord, one of the two biggest dredging and marine engineering companies in the Netherlands, worked at the Offshore Engineering & Estimating department. At this department job was to do a workability studies on the shallow water pipelay barge, the Stingray. 

The Offshore Engineering & Estimating department is focusing on Offshore projects and tenders linked to van Oord. One of the main focusing points is to create reasonable and reliable procedures for the workability of the Stingray.
