Guillermo Tomás Chialvo
Director General
Guillermo Chialvo is an accomplished professional with 37 years of experience in the broadcast industry. He started as an electronic engineering student, developing and commercializing antenna systems for satellite TV reception (TVRO). This allowed him to work in some of the biggest radio stations in Argentina, developing, implementing, and operating technical facilities of audio and RF. He then evolved into developing, implementing, and operating convergent facilities with mixed work parties between technology and information systems. With his expertise in cloud computing and technology for online media, he elaborated "The Homo IP Theory" based on his meticulous research on the convergence of mass media communication. He is also known for his contribution as a keynote speaker in several conferences, including NAB, CES, Convergence NPlay, and others, where he chronicled presentations and interviews to technological leaders such as Bill Gates, Eric Schmidt, Richard Wagoner, among others. He is the Director General of Cadena 3 Argentina and Former Tech News Editor and Director de Planificación. He was also the CTO of Radio Mitre and Tech Manager of Radio Maria Argentina and Tech Strategic Advisor of Cadena 3.
