Gregory Dudek

Gregory Dudek serves as the VP of Research and Lab Head at the Samsung AI Center in Montreal, a position he has held since January 2019. In addition to his role at Samsung, he is a full professor at McGill University, where he has been teaching since September 1992. He also directs the Mobile Robotics Lab and is an associate academic member at Mila - Quebec Institute of Artificial Intelligence.12
Dudek has made significant contributions to the fields of robotics and computer vision, authoring over 300 research publications on topics such as visual object recognition, robotic navigation, and mapping. He co-authored the book "Computational Principles of Mobile Robotics" with Michael Jenkin, which is published by Cambridge University Press.
