Greg Young

Greg Young is the Vice President for Cybersecurity at Trend Micro, with over 30 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity.

His expertise lies in enterprise security, focusing on networks, clouds, virtualization, IoT/operational technology (OT/SCADA), and microsegmentation.

Throughout his career, Greg has been a trusted advisor to numerous companies globally, offering invaluable insights and guidance.

Prior to Trend Micro, he held various key roles such as a Research Vice President at Gartner, head of IT security for the Federal Department of Communications, and chief security architect for a security product company.

With a military background in technology security, Greg is a graduate of the Canadian Forces School of Intelligence and Security.

His accolades include receiving the Confederation Medal from the Governor General of Canada for his work in smart card security, recognition in Network World's '12 Most Powerful Security Companies', and being listed in Sys-Con's '100 Most Powerful Voices In Security'.
