Shinsuke Mori
Shinsuke Mori is a Japanese computer scientist and an expert in the field of cybersecurity. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo in 2012 and then joined the faculty of the National Institute of Informatics in Tokyo. As an assistant professor, he worked on various topics like network security, privacy, and geolocation. In 2017, he started working as a researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, where he focused on security and privacy issues in internet protocols. Mori published more than 40 papers in top-tier security and networking conferences, including ACM SIGCOMM and IEEE INFOCOM.
Mori's research interests include computer/network security, privacy, cybercrime, cryptography, and internet protocols. He has expertise in designing secure networking protocols, analyzing/cracking cryptographic systems, detecting/interrupting cyberattacks, and developing private and anonymous network systems. He is also interested in exploring new solutions for security and privacy issues in emerging technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, and cloud computing.
