Greg Colvin

Greg Colvin has had a diverse and impressive career across several fields. He holds a Ph.D. in Quantitative Psychology from Cornell University and a B.A. in Psychology and Computer Science from the University of Colorado. He has been involved in artificial intelligence, optical storage, and information retrieval startups in Boulder and San Francisco, as well as service on the C++ standards committee. Colvin has also worked as a Senior Scientist at Information Management Research, a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Oracle Corporation, and consulting engineer at Ethereum and Algorand. Currently, he is the scientist, engineer, developer, and advisor at Colvin, and Company, where he has been able to use his multifaceted background to thrive as a tech consultant.

Throughout his career, Colvin has had a passion for innovation and pushing boundaries. He has played many roles in technology, giving him a broad understanding of different IT facets. Colvin combines his extensive experience in psychology, computer science, physics, history, and philosophy, enabling him to offer real-world solutions to complex technical challenges.

As the Gandalf of Ethereum, Colvin is an expert in blockchain technology and has been a considerable contributor to the Ethereum community. His background in optimization of the JVM interpreter in the Oracle kernel makes him well-positioned in problem-solving software issues.
