Grace Xia

Grace Yun Xia is the Founder and CEO of GiLi, a cross-border e-commerce platform operating in Southeast Asia. She has a strong background in investment, corporate strategy, and business development, with over a decade of experience in both early-stage startups and Fortune 50 companies.

Education and Early Career

Grace earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Finance from Tianjin Foreign Studies University in China and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. She began her career in management consulting, advising clients in the financial sector, before moving into corporate strategy and investment roles.

Professional Experience

Before founding GiLi, Grace was the Principal at Jungle Ventures, a Singapore-based venture fund, where she focused on identifying innovative startups and cross-border investment opportunities in Asia. Prior to that, she served as the Senior Director of Corporate Strategy and Investment at Tencent, where she was instrumental in building Tencent's overseas product ecosystem and identifying strategic opportunities in emerging markets.13

Grace has also held various roles in corporate strategy and investment at companies like Amobee and Deloitte, showcasing her extensive expertise in the technology sector across both Silicon Valley and emerging Asian markets.12
