Gosia Loj, a proactive and outgoing professional, has an extensive background in project/programme management and stakeholder relations within international organizations such as NATO, EU, UN, WTO, ICRC, and WIPO. Specializing in International Trade with a regional focus on Latin America, she has gained invaluable experience working at NGOs, think-tanks, and research institutes in countries like Argentina, Brazil, and Chile. Gosia's passion for technology and human psychology led her to qualify in Innovation and Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she actively participates in initiatives focused on AI policy, governance, safety, and ethics. Fluent in Polish, English, Spanish, and Portuguese, with a working knowledge of French, Gosia is now the Head of Global Governance Unit at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), where she was formerly the Head of International Strategy and Global Governance, EdTech Hub Lead at the Department for International Development (DFID), and AI Global Governance Lead at All-Party Parliamentary Group on Artificial Intelligence (APPG AI).
