Gordon Shaw is a Research Chemist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).2 He works in the Mass and Force Group, focusing on small mass and force measurement projects.46 Shaw received his BA in chemistry from Skidmore College4 and later pursued a PhD, during which he conducted research on nanoscale mechanical properties of nickel-titanium shape memory alloys and chemical sensors.2
