    Gordon Murray OBE is an expert in assessing government policies related to financing innovative young enterprises. He has conducted policy reviews and evaluations for various countries and organizations, including the Commonwealth of Australia, Finland, Denmark, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom (as a member of the BIS Access to Finance Expert Group), and the World Bank/China. His specialties lie in connecting public policy decisions with high-quality academic research in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, with a focus on evaluating early stage Venture Capital activity, particularly through government schemes. In recognition of his work, Gordon Murray was honored with the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2012. He holds a London Business School MBA, a PhD in Economics of UK Agricultural Co-operatives from the University of East Anglia School of Development Studies, and a 2.1 BSC (Hons) in Food Science and Technology from the University of Nottingham School of Agriculture and Food Science. Gordon Murray currently serves as an Emeritus Professor of Management (Entrepreneurship) at the University of Exeter and has previously held positions as an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at London Business School and a Senior Lecturer at Warwick Business School.
