In this critical role, I'm responsible for cultivating new business opportunities by developing, leading and sustaining strong relationships with all partners and stakeholders within the Sector.  As the Managing Director of the Canadian Utility Practice I'm also responsible for overseeing the “Go-To-Market” (GTM) Plan and client-facing resources – and ensuring that results exceed client expectations, meet project deadlines and are completed in line with Capgemini’s standards, procedures and core values.

Keyhole Technology is an innovative techniques for Smart underground utility construction. As the industry’s leader for keyhole technology innovation, I was responsible for developing, testing, and facilitating innovative “keyhole” technologies for utility system installations, repairs, and rehabilitation. "Keyholing" is the process of making a small, precisely controlled excavation to access buried utilities, for the purpose of locating, inspection, or perform repair, maintenance, and installation of utility facilities with the use of specialized tools. Keyhole technology allows utilities and their contractors to cost-effectively expose and perform repair and maintenance work on their underground pipe and other facilities without resorting to more costly and disruptive conventional excavation methods. Conventional practices—usually performed using several large pieces of equipment (backhoes, dump trucks, pavement breakers, etc.)—can account for a significant amount of time and labor relating to a repair job.

A leading utility contractor providing electrical, natural gas, water and communications distribution services to Ontario utilities for over 20 years. A pioneer in technology, OUC was one of the first companies to implement directional drilling, and hydro vacuum excavation, as well as an early adopter of efficiencies to improve both speed and cost-savings with the development joint-use trenching, which is now a leading practice throughout the industry today.

As a Powerline Technician Apprentice at East York Hydro, I played a vital role in ensuring the reliable delivery of electricity to homes and businesses across East York. I installed new power lines, and also maintained and repaired lines damaged by weather and other factors. Now part of Toronto Hydro, which is the largest municipal electricity distribution company in Canada, serving approximately 730,000 customers in the City of Toronto, East York Hydro was the municipally owned utility which was amalgamated with the five other Toronto area utilities under Bill 130 in the early 1990's.
