Glenn Solomon

Glenn Solomon, a seasoned venture capitalist with over two decades of experience, currently serves as a managing partner at GGV Capital, a leading global venture capital firm. He is highly regarded for his expertise in advising and investing in companies across a variety of sectors, emphasizing software, SaaS, enterprise infrastructure, and security. Glenn graduated from Stanford with a BA in Public Policy and received his MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He is also an accomplished athlete, having been part of three NCAA National Championship tennis teams while at Stanford.

In his current role at GGV Capital, Glenn is dedicated to finding and investing in companies that have the potential to become market leaders, both domestically and abroad. He leverages his "local plus global" perspective to actively cultivate this goal, regularly traveling to markets outside of the Bay Area, including NY, Boston, Austin, Israel, Asia, and elsewhere, in search of viable opportunities for investment.

Outside the world of VC, Glenn serves as the president of Coyote Theaters LLC and has previously served as the president of Simbol Commercial and Gulf States Theatres. Throughout his career, he has learned that the key to success is delivering on clients’ needs and working collaboratively with management teams.
