Glen Day

Glen Day is a highly experienced and accomplished CEO and Co-Founder at NVISNx, with more than twenty years of experience working in various sectors, including cybersecurity, privacy, and information governance. With a strong background in cybersecurity and privacy protection, Day specializes in helping clients to make informed decisions about what data to protect and what to purge, with a particular focus on managing big data.

Day previously served as a Principal in Ernst and Young's Assurance Services practice, leading America's Information Governance and Intellectual Property protection initiatives. He has also held principal roles at Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc., where he led cybersecurity and privacy services for commercial healthcare and co-led commercial opportunities in Financial Services. Additionally, he served as Chief Privacy Officer at Los Angeles County Department of Health Services and was formerly Commander in the US Navy, where he specialized in Information Warfare.

Day is dedicated to helping clients comply with the latest privacy mandates, such as the GDPR and CCPA, and shift from reactive to proactive approaches to managing data. He has developed pragmatic 7 IG Principles that focus on identifying new value from existing information assets while reducing costs.

Day earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Southern California and an MS in Information Management Systems from the Naval Postgraduate School.
